“Tell me what? I’m completely lost here,” she fused her hands in her hair. “René I told you I would talk to him about it. He’s just so caught up with his own marriage.”
“You don’t think he’ll agree?”
Honor moved past her, collecting his scattered shirts from off the bed. “I told you it's not up to him, it's up to my uncle.”
“Which one? Because they all respect my family.”
“I don’t want a courthouse marriage. That’s not my style. And I want kids. You don’t.” he zipped everything away, “Look René, can we talk about this when I get back.”
She nodded to herself, “Everything will be different when you come back, you understand that? If your brother keeps his promise, people will hold your name with the utmost respect. People will flock.” she paused to swallow. “Will you think of me?”
“I will,” he murmured before leaving.
