“It’s not a crime if the public doesn’t know about the gateway to begin with.”
Gordon grinned to himself. “What about Etain? Does he know about it?” Victor looked off in to the distance.
“Do not come in to this country with chaos herding behind you. Do you hear me?” he tossed his pen on the table “This is how everything begins and ends, with people like you doing whatever the hell they please.”
Victor glared at him. “What exactly do you mean by people like me?”
The light bulb over the two buzzed in between the lull.
“Are you prejudiced against the men and women whom left all they’ve ever known behind just to get everyone’s shit together?”
Gordon held one hand up. “Say no more,” he grabbed his pen. “You are under arrest for trespassing on private property.” He smiled. “Does that make you any feel better?”
“Fuck you,” Gordon stood to his feet, straightening his coat. “And have a lovely wedding.” Victor spat.
