He shrugged. “You brought home dinner last night. I bring you lunch. Simple transaction.” she grabbed a grape, then settled further back in to her seat.
“Where are you going after this?”
“My meeting. Then I’ll go to the market to get more fruit,” he promised, “Why? You want something?”
“No,” she stated, watching him stand from the edge of her desk. “Stay up for me though,”
“I’ll keep the porch light on,” he teased.
“Stop,”
“I’ll wait up,” combing his locks out of his face, Chadwick bent forward to give her a peck on the cheek. “Work smart, not hard.” he instructed in her ear. As he spoke her lips lingered over his neck.
Her private office now filled with short sighs, followed by a much deeper kiss.
She pulled him closer by his suit jacket, completely forgetting he had a meeting to resume.
“Sorry,” she murmured in his shoulder. “You got wrinkles now,”
“I’ll wait up,”he moved toward her door, hand swiping her essence from his expression.
